Welcome to the Song, Stage and Screen XV conference website. The conference has already ended. It was held as an online conference from June 30 to July 3, 2021 and was co-organized by the Paris-Lodron-Universität Salzburg (PLUS) and the Anton-Bruckner-Privat-Universität Linz (ABPU). We thank all participants for this beautiful and stimulating exchange.
Here are a few impressions about the conference:
“I just wanted to say thank you, to you and your whole team, for a simply wonderful conference. I’ve been so inspired by thepanels and discussions, the layout and tech elements, and the keynote presenters and topics. It is one of the best conferencesI’ve attended, and it could only be better if we could be live.” Prof. D.M.
“What a great idea -thank you for organisingthis in a way that allows participation from everyone despite the pandemic. This will also be a wonderful opportunity for UG and PG students who wouldn’t normally be allowed to attend to get a taste of an academic conference and the kinds of conversationsand debates that are happening at the moment. I look forward to it -and am intrigued by the mentions of the White Horse Inn… 🙂 … Such a valuable experience and so well organised-thank you!” Prof. M.L.-N.

“I just wanted … to thank you and all of your team for the fantasticconference last week. We’ve heard from lots of delegates about how much theyappreciated the quality of the scholarship, the careful organisation, the helpfulcommunication, and most of all the generous spirit of the conference -and I absolutelysupport all of these sentiments. Although it was a shame not to be able to visit Salzburgin person, this was more than made up for by the warmth, generosity, and camaraderiethat clearly came through (even though we were online!). It’s been a real pleasure working with you, and we are very grateful for your role inmaking this conference such a success.” Prof. D.S.
“It really was a brilliant event and that was due toyour thoughtful stewardship and hard work. … The theme was a really good one that drew out impressive scholarship from contributors … All that visited agreedthat, short of being in a real cafe or pub, it was a really great aspect of the proceedings.” Prof. G.B.
